MJ is a senior learning experience designer and learning consultant who turns complex ideas into practical learning that works in the real world. She has 10 years of learning and development experience designing and delivering digital and facilitator-led learning across financial services, banking, accounting and bookkeeping, BPO, customer experience, and technical support. Her experience includes leading and collaborating with learning teams across three continents to develop practical training solutions for diverse organisations and workforces.

At Wave Learning Studio, MJ combines learning strategy, instructional design, e-learning development, facilitator-led training, and learning technology to help organisations solve real capability and performance needs. Her approach focuses on creating clear, practical learning experiences that help people apply knowledge at work — whether through employee onboarding, technical training, digital learning, or broader learning and development programmes.

Ariel Chang is a Contributing Senior Instructional Design Expert who collaborates with Wave Learning Studio on selected projects. With over 12 years of experience in learning and development, Ariel brings expertise across instructional design, operational leadership training, customer experience, and workplace learning. His operational background gives him a practical perspective on designing training that supports real performance, capability, and business needs.

At Wave Learning Studio, Ariel also helps shape our approach to learning technology, digital learning, and AI-enabled learning solutions. He explores how emerging tools can make employee training, leadership development, and workplace learning more interactive, efficient, and responsive — while keeping strong instructional design and human judgement at the centre. His focus is not on AI-made learning, but on using technology and AI thoughtfully to strengthen the way learning is designed, developed, and experienced.

On selected engagements, Ariel contributes instructional design expertise, learning development support, and technology-led thinking to turn business needs and subject matter expertise into clear, practical learning experiences.

    Our projects may also include learning strategy, learner and task analysis, facilitated learning, assessments, job aids, LMS deployment, quality assurance, and final handover.

  • That depends on what you already have, what your learners need to do, and what is currently making that difficult.

    You may need a complete onboarding programme, the conversion of existing content into digital learning, support with one clearly defined capability, or a complete learning programme and delivery environment.

    We begin by understanding your learners, goals, existing resources, technology, and desired outcomes. From there, we recommend the service and combination of deliverables that best fit the need.

  • Our professional-service fees vary depending on the programme, number of courses, level of interactivity, technology requirements, and support needed.

    All Wave services are priced and billed in Philippine pesos (PHP). For overseas clients, the PHP project fee will also be shown in US dollars (USD) using the current exchange rate published on XE.com, rounded up to the nearest whole US dollar at the time specified in the proposal or invoice.

    All published professional-service fees are inclusive of applicable taxes. Third-party expenses, such as LMS subscriptions, software licences, hosting, travel, voice-over, or external specialist costs, will be identified separately where required.

    Wave Learning Studio is a registered and compliant Philippine business. We provide official invoices and issue receipts for payments received.

    Every engagement is confirmed through a written proposal or Statement of Work outlining the final scope, deliverables, schedule, payment milestones, billing currency, and any additional third-party costs.

    Depending on the selected service, projects generally take between six and twenty weeks, followed by one to four weeks of post-launch support.

    Standard projects may include discovery and planning, learning strategy, storyboarding or prototyping, development, quality assurance, deployment, knowledge transfer, and final handover.

    Project fees are paid through milestone-based instalments linked to key stages of the engagement, from project commencement through to deployment and the completion of post-launch support.

  • Wave is tool-agnostic. We scope and recommend the most appropriate authoring tool based on the learning need, intended audience, level of interactivity, delivery environment, technical requirements, and the client’s ability to maintain the programme after handover.

    We do not choose a platform simply because it is familiar or popular. We care about the impact of the learning and select the tools that best support the intended outcomes.

    Courses can be prepared for LMS or platform deployment, including SCORM-ready publishing where required. Editable source files or platform access are provided where technically supported and included in the agreed scope.

  • Wave can assess your learning-platform requirements, recommend an appropriate LMS or delivery approach, configure courses, establish completion and assessment settings, test learner access, and prepare your administrators for handover.

    We can also design facilitator-led materials and provide virtual or on-site Train-the-Trainer support for qualifying programmes. This prepares your internal trainers to confidently deliver and continue managing the learning after the engagement.

    LMS subscriptions, hosting, licences, integrations, and other third-party technology expenses are scoped separately.
